We are the Blake family.
Pastor James married Brittany in August 2008. Our children from oldest to youngest are Liberty, Laura Belle, Fantasia, Remington, and Hannah. Brittany and I rededicated our lives to the Lord around Christmas of 2008. In 2009, James and Brittany felt the Lord leading James into full time ministry.
James received the Lord Jesus as his savior in August 2004 at a Christ In Youth conference on the campus of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. He graduated from Emmaus Bible College (Dubuque, Iowa) with a B.S. in Biblical Studies in May of 2014. He graduated from Calvary University (Belton, Missouri) with a M.A. in Biblical Counseling in May of 2017. He has been a Certified Biblical Counselor with the International Association of Biblical Counselors since Spring of 2017.
James has served as a Youth Pastor at 2 churches for a total of 4 years. James has also served as a church janitor and church administrator for a year. He has served as a solo Pastor since March of 2017. James has been involved in Christian Camping in multiple camps in Iowa and Kansas.
James enjoys taking care of his kids, riding his motorcycle, woodworking, camping, and hosting friends in his spare time.
